Nature's Coco Coir products are of premium quality and are completely organic and biodegradable. With an extremely low electrical conductivity (EC) level of less than 0.5 ms/cm, our coco coir is achieved by thorough washing with fresh water. This makes it a top choice as a growing medium and a great substitute for sphagnum peat moss. There are no traces of dirt, foreign materials, or weed seeds in our products.

Our coco coir is suitable for a variety of applications, such as Hydroponics, Aquaponics, commercial potting mixes, home gardens, greenhouses, direct soil amendment, compost amendment, animal/livestock bedding, reptile bedding, and liquid absorbing compound. To achieve the perfect texture, we screen our washed raw material to remove any impurities or larger chunks.

When using our coco coir, lay the block flat in a well-draining area and slowly pour 1.25 liters of water for every 1 pound of coir. Allow the water to be absorbed without any runoff and let it sit for 30-40 minutes until it becomes light and spongy. Each 2 lbs compressed block will expand to 0.2 to 0.5 Cubic Feet after breakdown.
